I apologize for that, that's from, "Toddlers with Tiaras." It's seriously the grossest show ever. They tell 6 year olds to do stuff like that. I also think it may be home to the highest presence of front butt on a tv show per capita. I swear every one of those moms is rocking the front butt, perhaps that's why they want their daughters to be, "pretty." It's such a disaster, the show is like a walmart that you can save on your dvr. Not something I recommend doing...unless you're into the whole front butt thing...no judging...totally judging. But in the name of science, please draw me a diagram of how that thing actually forms. I get the down part but how does it then turn on itself and create the crack? Inquiring minds want to know.
The opposite of front butts and walmart? Dudes in suits. SK loves her some suit porn and Blue Scholars are more than happy to oblige. I wish they used the beginning sample for a whole song, it has a nice groove to it. The actual song is pretty solid as well though. Looking good boys, no homo.

Nice little video. It's a short film by JW Griffiths titled, "Splitscreen: A Love Story." It was was shot entirely on a Nokia N8 cell phone and won the 2011 Nokia Shorts Competition.
Way old by now but still terrifying. I have been in the same room while "Toddlers in Tiaras" has been on and it's some pretty scary shit. Add the slowed down drunken dwarf style and it just pushes it over the edge of sanity. *shudders*

The theme today seems to be Asians and Wu-Tang, sort of correlated, I heard we drafted them in the racial draft. Model Minority recently dropped their gigantor 22 track mixtape entitled, "Tiger Sons." I am sure pretty much everyone knows what the title references but if you are out of the loop you can check out the article here. I am not sure if I have ever heard a Model Minority track, so really I have no formed opinion on them. I assume they are overtly political, I doubt they are clubby, and I am guessing that out of 22 tracks they should have at least one good one, but I could be totally wrong. So with that sparkling recommendation you can grab the mixtape at their site here.
Update: Here is a video for one of the songs off of the mix. It won't really get the party started but I support all asians with beards.

About the project via Angry Asian Man, The two Filipino American emcees recently joined forces during a week-long visit to Hawaii to create an album -- "laced with beats by local Hawaiian producers and rounded out by some of LA and Seattle's most talented beatsmiths" -- that pays homage to the islands." Does anyone remember when theme songs used to be awesome? I loved the whole Disney afternoon's lineup and their accompanying theme songs. It seems like they don't even try anymore. I appreciate a cheesy ass jingle or a well manufactured theme song, it's sort of a lost art. Ducktales a woo hooo!! Ohh Wee ohh, ohh wee ehhh, spin it, when you spin it and a something, something, Talespin!! Although I was admittedly the target demographic for these shows, these theme songs kept me company in the afternoons before my parents got home, at which point I had to run downstairs and act like I was doing my homework. Gummi Bears had one of the best theme songs ever. I remember in college telling my friend who was in a band that he should cover it during his live performances. I think he was in a rock band but R&B interpretations work just as well.

It kind of reminded me of the, "Christian Side Hug" video, which I added below. They are rough ridaaas, so give them that Christian side hug!! Myself, I always go for the pussy hug, since I am Buddhist and Murs taught me that term on one of our retreats. This is like those PSA's where the parents rap to their kids about STD's or something. The way to get your message across is not to bastardize another culture and drench it with cheese. Although that shit is kind of stuck in my head now.
Apparently people do this. They slice up movies and make songs with just the sound effects and music that can be found in the film. This guy Pogo seems to be the master of it, but I just found out about this whole practice the other day so I am not the authority on whatever this is called.

Julie Zhan does her own "remix" of it fittingly titled, "Welcome Home remix." She's a crafty one that Julie. The third video is from B-Boy City Hawaii and features, 8 year old Angelo "Lil Demon" Baligad, getting down with some really impressive power moves.
Blue Scholars out of Seattle are a hip hop group that I don't hate. They made this when it snowed in Seattle back in Dec of 08. Since it just snowed again, they decided to make a sequel.
