We saw this dude open for the Budos Band back in January. He gave us a free cd after we asked him what the last song he played was and how to get a hold of it. He informed us that it was a song he had made and told us it was the first track on this cd. He also told us to share, spread the love, get jiggy with it..he may not have said all of those things. Him and Senor Oz have a regular gig at The Elbo room in San Francisco. I suggest checking them out. He may be the danciest DJ I have ever seen. Dude gets down and it's nice to know when a DJ loves the music they are playing.

ReplyDeleteI remember when we first saw this dude at the Budos show...I was like "is this a joke". At the end of the night, the joke was on us 'cause we were all big fans. Track 1 is one of my favorites not only because it opens up his mix-tape, but it's actually an Afrolicious original! Love this guy's sets...or maybe I just love his dance moves....
