ACTION BRONSON - BEAUTIFUL MUSIC from dallas penn on Vimeo.
Big Action Bronson fan right here. Check out this awesome video of him as the dude from, Frosty? Rudolph? One of those old school animated joints we used to watch back in the day. He looks much less likely to murder you in animated form.
STS sure gets posted a lot around here. What can I say? I think he's got skill.
Are there other people putting in work, I should be checking on? I swear I just post videos from the same three dudes over and over. If only I had a new Sean Price video.
Here is someone we haven't posted in awhile. Still not new though, I have been listening to him since college. *waves goodbye to staying on top of new music*
This is mostly being posted because of the image. The Schroder of hip hop...genius.

Hip Hop Mix 11
![]() |
"Audrey, I swear every time I come over here it's all Raekwon, all day...I knew there was a reason I liked you. |
Audrey and I have been testing out the new hip hop mix. I try and tell her there is more to hip hop than just crack rap, but if they aren't talking about moving o's she just rolls her eyes and does that dismissive wanking motion. Reaaaal classy Audrey, maybe you could do with some more culture!!!
Well despite Audrey's protestation there is a mixture of both crack rap and conscience rap on the mix. I know some of it is too preachy and kumbaya for some people. *whispers Audrey* But how can we appreciate the sweet without the sour? How can we appreciate spandex without lunges. Grab the download here or hit the jump for a preview. Lots of videos and pictures so enter at your own risk.

Eye Candy
The Shrine / An Argument from Sean Pecknold on Vimeo.
This is a really well done video from one of my favorite bands, Fleet Foxes. This will be on the next hip hop mix, which is just waiting to get zipped up and posted. STS who we have been featuring a lot lately, once again kills his verse on this. Shaun Boothe rips it as well, love the ending to his verse. If you have two emcees tearing shit up over an Otis Redding sample, then you have my attention.
This is totally not music related. It also may not be as awesome to those of you who venture outside every once in awhile and do not know every meme in existence but I thought this was pretty well done. Do you ever watch those internet clip shows and find out that you have seen all of them already? Just me? Yeah I think I have a problem...and a Doctorate in useless internet content.
Awesome video of the Muppet singers at Jim Henson's memorial in 1990. Touching, funny, amazing. I love me some Muppets. Bonus Fraggles appearance at the end, damn I loved that show too.
'Drive' to Shitty Music Trailer - watch more funny videos
I really enjoyed, "Drive." The music had an integral part of the feeling that the movie was going for. Here is how you ruin that tone, I give you, "Drive" set to shitty music.Great video of, My Morning Jacket, at the Fox theater. Directed by, Scott Compton via. My Morning Jacket will be in town again on Friday, December 2nd. The craziest part? Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are opening for them. Tickets are $45 plus service charge and you can get them here.
The blog I saw this on called this the worst music ever made. I am inclined to agree. This is the video by SuperHeavy, which is a supergroup consisting of Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, Damian Marley, and Allah Rakha Rahman. Joss sounds and looks good, Damian does that R. Kelly talk sing thing that while amusing was never the way I enjoyed music. The part that literally made me start laughing out loud was Mick Jagger. Seriously try and watch his parts with a straight face. Que Ridiculo.

Eye Candy
Emilio Rojas, "Breaking Point" from Erojasmanagement on Vimeo.
Emilio Rojas is a talented emcee. One of the newer dudes on the scene who I check in on from time to time. He has a really nice flow and a distinctive voice. Here is his video for the title track his upcoming project “Breaking Point” presented By DJ Green Lantern and Billionaire Boys Club. This was filmed in Europe while on tour by Zerotrois.
STS is on the same list as Emilio. He goes hard on a track. This is his video for, "Cliche'." I admire his rapid fire delivery and the bravado that comes through in his voice.
Jean Grae and Talbi Kweli with the extended cut of their video, "Uh Oh." Two well respected pillars of the hip hop scene. Jean is on the top of my female emcee, list even though she hates the differentiation. Talib is on my top emcee list overall. Both are signed to Talib's Blacksmith label.
Lana Del Rey's video for “Video Games.” Nice mixing of old footage with the new.

Feeling this shirt so much I accosted a dude on the bus (no homo) to find out where he got it. This isn't where he got it, but you can get Exact Science shirts at one of my favorite online music/clothing spots, the Giant Peach. |

Another sample of Exact Science's T-shirt line. |
